What UniTracker doesn't do

UniTracker doesn't submit applications; you still apply on each university's portal or uni-assist. It doesn't predict your admission chances, and it doesn't write your CV or letters. Catalog data and grade conversions are aids, not official rulings, so always verify with the university.

What is UniTracker?

UniTracker is a free web app for international students applying to German universities. It covers the whole journey: finding programs, tracking applications and deadlines, storing documents, converting grades, and keeping up with the visa and Sperrkonto steps. One dashboard instead of a spreadsheet.

Is UniTracker really free?

Yes. It is free forever for individual students. There is no trial period, no credit card, and nothing to upgrade to.

How does the grade conversion work?

The converter takes your Pakistani GPA or Indian percentage and applies the modified Bavarian formula to give you the German 1.0–5.0 equivalent, so you can check whether you meet a program's cutoff before you apply. There is also a free public German grade calculator you can try without an account. You can also photograph your transcript: AI reads every course into a table you review, computes your German GPA and ECTS, and saves it to your profile. Conversions are an aid, not an official ruling, so always verify with the university.

Does UniTracker submit applications for me?

No. You still apply through each university's portal or uni-assist. UniTracker keeps the statuses, documents, and deadlines organized while you do.

Can my parents or an advisor follow my progress?

Yes. You can share a read-only timeline of your applications with a parent, mentor, or advisor. They open a link; they don't need an account.

Which universities can I track?

Any university or program. You can add one manually in seconds, or if you don't know where to apply yet, browse the catalog of 1,200+ German programs, kept in sync with DAAD's database, and filter by intake semester or tags like no-fee or no-IELTS. You can also paste a DAAD link when adding an application and the form fills itself, deadline and application portal included.

Does UniTracker help after I'm admitted?

Yes. The visa tracker keeps your embassy appointment and its document checklist in one place with a readiness bar, and the Sperrkonto tracker walks you through the blocked account in six stages, with funds progress, deadlines, and the confirmation letter covered.

Submit your first application in an hour.
